Born and raised on the shores of Lake Ontario, in Rochester NY. Charlotte to be exact. Yes, I used to play for the Beach Avenue Bombers, and my street signs were blue. I’ve been in the game for a while now, and Ive been around it all my life. I’m a follower of Coughlin’s Law. I think Cocktail is a top 5 film. Liz Shue has still got it by the way. My mother is the best damn waitress this side of the Genesee, and my Uncle Geno makes a better Pina Colada than your uncle. Watching the likes of Bump and Lobo behind the bar as I Slurp down Kiddie Cocktails, and out duel Manitoba Mike’s top scores on Run 21. I grew up in the scene and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I started serving tables and doing magic on a paddle wheel boat when I was 12 in Rochester NY. The magic never stuck, but boy was I good on the floor. I lied my way into my first bartending job at 21 in South Florida, while a student at Florida Atlantic University. I Packed up my bags and rowed the boat up and down the Atlantic and it’s tributaries for a few years before finally rowing my boat ashore, here in this great city. I’ve bounced from West 6th, to The Warehouse District, and now here at The Stagger Lee, on Rainey. We have a team that is unmatched in service, and we truly love what we do.
We are excited to bring our neighborhood bar to Rainey, and become a part of such a great neighborhood. Come give us a shot. And Go Bills.
I was born and raised in what used to be a small town called Austin, Texas. Working in the hospitality and service industry has allowed me to do one thing that I love and that’s travel. You can usually catch me at the beach fishing or hiking some mountains.
I was lucky enough to meet/work for some of the people who make-up the FBR group since the early 2000’s. Which has lead me to where I am at today at Stagger Lee. When I’m not working, I spend time with my fur child, Maple & I love hitting up the parks and trying to find the next hidden food gem before Max does!
Hello, my name is Josh. I have been in the service industry for the better part of a decade. I moved to Austin in 2008 after spending eight years enlisted in the military. I worked my way through every type of service position, from valet to bartender.
After spending several years in Portland, Oregon, I moved back to Austin in early 2016 with a baby on the way. I spent the last few years in The Domain before starting a new adventure here on Rainey Street at Stagger Lee.
So whether you want an Old Fashioned and “something fruity” for your app date or maybe just a cold beer and some sports, we got you covered.
